First appearance: Friday the 13th (2009)
Hey remember those other 10 movies that Jason was running around killing kids? Yeah, well, None of that happened because we've decided to reboot the series. This one almost plays like a sequel to the original 1980 movie. Not the worst of the movies to feature Jason Voorhees but also not quite the best. One of the few Friday the 13 movies where some of the action actually takes place at Camp Crystal Lake. Might finally be the last Friday the 13th movie.
First appearance (looking like this): Freddy Vs Jason (2003)
Nobody believes in Freddy anymore so he resurrects Jason to kill some teens in Springwood so the teens will blame Freddy. Unfortunately Jason's having too much fun killing kids so Freddy fires him. The kids come up with the great plan of using Jason to fight Freddy. Mayhem ensues.
It took 10 years from the tease at the end of Jason Goes to Hell for this to finally happen.

Timecrimes is probably the best time travel movie I've ever seen not involving Ted Theodore Logan or Bill S. Preston Esquire.
25 years in the making by a man who may never have seen a movie nor heard music before embarking on this project.
I don't think I can describe the plot. Just watch the trailer and visit the the film's website: http://dangerousmenthemovie.com be sure to listen to the jingle...
yes the movie has a jingle.
Guillermo Del Toro brings Mike Mignola's pulptastic monster fighting comic to the big screen for the first time.
Summoned by a weird occult machine by Rasputin for the Nazis, a weird little demon is intercepted by Professor Bruttenholm and the allied forces. The demon is adopted by the professor named "Hellboy" and raised in Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defence, away from the prying eyes of everyone. Hellboy hangs out with a fishman and a pyrokenetic and they fight monsters and stuff.
But little do they know Rasputin's trying to summon some giant tentacle monsters from another dimension and Hellboy's the key!
A heart warming fairy tale about the Spanish Civil War and a little girl. Featuring all the stuff great fairy tales are full of: violence, horror, monsters, death.
Small town America is forced to deal with an alien parasite wreaking havoc. Lucky for them Police Chief Bill Pardy is on the case!
People forgot to go see this in theatres which is a shame since it was a tonne of fun.
First Appearance: John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars (2001)
A couple of police officers on Mars need to transport a criminal to a remote mining settlement. When they get there it turns out all the miners have been possessed by Martian ghosts. A siege ensues.
This movie is as close as you can get to being a Western as possible with out actually having it set in the old west, using horses or having the heroes fight "injuns." Still wondering when John Carpenter's just going to make that Western he seems to want to make.
Also of note it features a score by John Carpenter (on synthesizer) and a bunch of heavy metal guitarits, including Robin Finck, Steve Vai and Buckethead, and the rest of Anthrax.
A cop is involved in an accident at a chemical plant. The accident turns him into an indestructible Bio-weapon! A Bio-weapon handing out justice as only a BIO-COP can!
Technically this movie doesn't really exist, it was a fake trailer produced by the Astron-6 guys and the only way you can see it is at the end of the fantastic Manborg! You should watch Manborg! I hope one day Bio-cop is a feature length flick.
BIO-COP!
A wealthy businessman in the '80s lives a double life. By day he's a wealthy investment banker. By night he dresses as a bat and fights crime. No, sorry got this one confused with another movie. By night the investment banker enjoys murdering people, but because it's the 1980s and everyone is a fake nobody notices nor believes he's a serial killer.
Interesting that this actor played both Patrick Bateman and the vigilante Batman. Bateman, Batman, weird, isn't it?
First appearance: The Lost Skeleton of Cadavera (2001)
This appearance: The Lost Skeleton Returns Again (2009)
The further adventures of Scientist Dr. Paul Armstrong!
Living in the Jungle after his latest discovery was stolen by a rival scientist Dr. Armstrong is unaware that the nefarious Lost Skeleton is up to his old tricks.
A bickering brother and sister run afoul of an axe weilding, truck driving fiend that hunts for humans for twenty-three days every twenty-three years. Turns out he's some kind of demon that eats body parts to replace his own and he hunts using the smell of fear. He also lives in an abandoned church and likes to quilt, go figure.
Fun little tribute to 1950's monster flicks. Not as entertaining as the Larry Blamire movies, but still pretty good. Story wise its similar to the Brain from Planet Arous. Alien cop takes over the body of a human to track down a killer. This one stars Eric McCormack, and someone named Sage Brocklebank a name almost as awesome as Flex Shrapnel, Corky Burger, or Oliver Onions.
Really interesting new slasher movie about a girl with no name being chased by a guy wearing a chrome skull mask who's is videotaping his rampage with a shoulder mounted video camera. Why's he filming? We don't know. Who's the girl? We don't know. How come the cops can't figure out the car with the license plate "CRMSKULL" probably belongs to the serial killer wearing a chrome skull mask leading them to the identity of the silent hulking walking cuisinart? we find out in the sequel. Very gory, surprisingly interesting, kinda gross. If you've got a week stomach stay far, far away from Cromeskull.
The second movie brings up more questions than it answers. I'm looking forward to seeing a third.
First appearance: The Lost Skeleton of Cadavera (2001)
One of my favorite movies of all time. Its the tale of an evil skeleton and a scientist who studies rocks.
Also over at Doo Wacka Doodles there's a tribute to this fantastic movie featuring a bunch of fantastic art. I think you should go check it out. You will be sterilised with fear!
