Joseph

First appearance: The Crescent (2017)

A woman and her child move into her mother's house to deal with the grief of losing her husband and to marble paper. Unfortunately for her there's some weird stuff going on around the beach.
A horror flick in the vein of EYES OF FIRE and MESSIAH OF EVIL.

Black Phillip

First appearance: The Witch (2016)

In the 17th Century a puritan family gets kicked out of the village they were living in and set up a farm at the edge of a creepy forest. As soon as they're settled in their youngest goes missing. Is it the work of a wolf? Maybe it's just God punishing them for being too prideful? Is it possible there's a witch living in the woods?

Nice creepy atmosphere. One of the best witch movies I've seen in a while.

Broken Head Red Ghost

First appearance: Crimson Peak (2015)

Guillermo Del Toro's gothic romance about a lady who wants to be a writer, a man who needs investor's for his giant clay digging machine, his creepy sister and a house that's slowing sinking into the clay pits under it. Also there's ghosts.
Definitely a movie best seen on the big screen. The costuming and art direction are fantastic, just don't go into it expecting a scare fest, the ads kind of make it will be. That being said there is some particularly grisly things on screen.

NEW YORK COMIC CON!

Hey you! Yeah, you. are you going to New York Coimic Con? Do you like cool things? If you answered yes to both of these questions you should probably go to New York Comic Con and pick up these limited edition screen prints from the wizards at SpaceLab 9. You'll notice the art has a very Andrew Barr's Monstars flavour to them, that's 'cuz I'm the artist behind the art!

Blake

First appearance: The Fog (1980)

One hundred years ago on April 21, (1880) a bunch of jerks stop a rich man named Blake (who was a leper) from establishing a leper colony on the outskirts of Antonio Bay, California. First they took the gold he offered to buy the land he was going to use and then they cause the ship carrying Blake and his buddies to sink in the bay.
Now (1980) on the 100th anniversary of the shipwreck and founding of the town a heavy fog rolls in from the bay! Is there something in the fog? What's causing all the weird phenomena happening around town?
GHOST PIRATES?! Maybe. Whatever is in the fog is killing a lot of people. Is anyone safe. PROBABLY NOT!

Pretty good ghost story from John Carpenter. Remade in 2005 as a really terrible teen horror movie.
Check out the original it's spooky and atmospheric and Carpenter's score is pretty creepy too.

The Amityville House

First appearance: The Amityville Horror (1979)

Always make sure you do a bit of research when buying a house, especially one that looks like it's got a face. This is the true story of a family who didn't.
