Wendell Dukes

First appearance: The Belko Experiment (2016)

Mike Mich has the worst possible day at work. He's not all that happy with his job at Belko Industries' Bogota head quarters. Turns out his job facilitating getting americans jobs in foreign companies isn't really what it seems. Everyone else figures it out once all the metal shutters cover the windows and a voice comes on the intercom suggesting everyone should kill four of their fellow employees in half an hour or eight of them will die. Is it a joke? Where are all the employees who actually live in Bogota?
Sadly no trailer that I can find yet. The movie is based on a dream James Gunn had about the trailer and directed by Greg McLean, the guy who made the Wolf Creek Movies

Jake

First appearance: Twin Dragon Encounter (1986)

Unfortunately since I haven't seen Twin Dragon Encounter I'm not sure what it was about. However I did see the sequel "Dragon Hunt." That one was about Jake gathering a bunch of mercenaries on an island and making them fight and hopefully kill the Mcnamara brothers (Canada's premier twin martial artists) to get revenge for whatever happened in the previous movie. Probably something to do with losing his hand since the movie starts with that.

Jake's army consists of some trappers, a beast master, a guy too stupid to feel pain, some ninjas and a bunch of paramilitary guys. Violence ensues!

Unfortunately I couldn't find a trailer for this slice of Maple Syrup Martial Madness.

Yeah I know I drew them in their Bogus Journey costumes. I like them better... or maybe I actually drew the Evil Robot Thems...

Jason Voorhees (lives)

First appearance: Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)

Jadon Voorhees

First appearance: Friday the 13th part 2 (1981)

Jason Voorhees isn't all that happy with what happened to his mom last year and decides to do something about it. What? You thought his mom killed all those teens last year because Jason drowned at Camp Crystal Lake? And that was just some kind of nightmare hallucination where he jumped out of the lake? Also wasn't he a little kid in that jump scare thing at the end of the last movie? Shut up. Jason's a full grown weirdo who's been living in the woods and wears a bag on his head covering up his weird face and wonky eye.

Mike Pearson

First appearance: Phantasm (1979)

A troubled orphan witnesses something strange at the funeral of his older brother's best friend. Further investigation reveals a terrifying secret: the owner of the funeral home is a monster from another dimension (or something.) With the help of his older brother and their best friend, local ice cream vendor Reggie, the boy attempts to destroy this fiend from another plane. Or is it all just the nightmare of a recently orphaned young man? Three more sequels indicate it's not just a dream or is it!?

I love Phantasm. All four of them. Can't wait for Ravager!

This is the third time I've visited Phantasm for a Monstar. Dig Reggie and The Tall Man:

Black Phillip

First appearance: The Witch (2016)

In the 17th Century a puritan family gets kicked out of the village they were living in and set up a farm at the edge of a creepy forest. As soon as they're settled in their youngest goes missing. Is it the work of a wolf? Maybe it's just God punishing them for being too prideful? Is it possible there's a witch living in the woods?

Nice creepy atmosphere. One of the best witch movies I've seen in a while.

Hector escapes the pink bandaged man by hiding in a seemingly abandoned building at the top of a hill. But is he safe there?

Timecrimes is probably the best time travel movie I've ever seen not involving Ted Theodore Logan or Bill S. Preston Esquire.

ANDY!?

First appearance: Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985)

Pee-Wee Herman loses his Bicycle and goes on a cross country misadventure to find it. Encountering a series of interesting people and discovering the Alamo does not have a basement and that everyone has a big but. What does it all mean? I don't know! It's like a big cable knit sweater that somebody keeps knitting and knitting and knitting...

Seth Brundle

First appearance: The Fly (1986)

A scientist thinks he's figured out how to improve everyone's commute to work, instead he figures out a way to make things turn inside out. Eventually he fixes that problem and makes an even bigger mess. Definitely the movie to see if you want to see a lot of Jeff Goldblum. one of my favourite Cronenberg flicks.
