Back in the present (the present as of 1993), A talented A.I. researcher named Rick is working as a care taker for the Bodega Bay Hotel, while also doing research on A.I. He finds Toulon's puppets in their travelling case in the wall where Toulon hid them after committing suicide in the late 40's to prevent nazi spys from attaining his secrets. Meanwhile, in hell, a demon named Sutekh, decides that he hates how people keep animating things so he mails some animated dolls to Rick and some of his co-researchers to kill them.

A coming of age sci-fi splatter comedy with a dash of Hong Kong Style action.  A beer delivery boy named Christian stumbles upon a sentient bomb that looks like an innocent stuffed animal and is chased by the bomb's original owners who are ready and willing to kill anyone and anything that gets in their way. Manborg

First appearance: Manborg (2011)

A soldier is killed during the Hell Wars and is brought back to life in Mega Death City in the future as man kind's only hope (?), MANBORG! Together with #1 Man, Justice and Mina he faces Count Draculon's weird forces in gladiatorial combat until he tires of those "shenanigrams" and brings the fight to Count Draculon himself!

Made for about $1,000, every cent of which show's on screen, the movie is crazy ambitious and extremely fun. Sure it looks like it was made for a thousand bucks but its a million times more fun than half the recent big budget movies I've seen lately. If only all the micro-budget film makers had the kind of imagination and talent the Aston-6 guys.
Oh, and it's a Canadian flick too. Why can't we make more stuff like this in Canada?
I watched twice in a row after blind buying the DVD. I recommend this flick highly.

The Bag

First appearance: My Stepmother is an Alien (1988)

An alien comes to earth to figure out why earth attacked her home planet. She ends up falling in love with and marrying the scientist who did the attacking after figuring out it was an accident. The scientist's daughter figures out there's something wrong with her new mom and the weird eyeball thing that lives in her purse. Much fish out of water hilarity ensues. Originally pitched as a dark allegory
about child abuse.

OK guys I'll get back to actual monsters from horror flicks soon. I promise

Protector 101

First appearance: Killbots / Chopping Mall (1986)

Some kids decide to do that standard thing kids liked to do in the 1980s, stay behind after work and have a make-out party in the mall after hours. Unfortunately for them this was the day when the mall got its new security team, partying teens' mortal enemy: Robots! Mayhem ensues.
Leigh reminded me how much I liked this movie and suggested I draw one of the "Killbots." I chose Number Two because I thought he gave the best performance, you could really believe he was a just security guard trying to do the best job he could.

Oh,if you've got a favorite monster or b-movie hero that you'd like to see me draw up for this collection let me know, there's still tons of monsters I haven't gotten around to yet.
